Baby, one more time? That's the message from Britney Spears, who
told an interviewer at a red carpet event for "The X Factor" that
she'll be returning to the show next season.
"Yes, I definitely will," she said.
Spears, a new judge this season along with Demi Lovato, has been
an opinionated, popular presence on the reality competition, earning praise
from Simon Cowell himself. Unlike the Nicki- Mariah face-off that's made
"American Idol" headlines, "X Factor" seems to have avoided
internal squabbles this year.
"I'm actually very hopeful that 'X Factor' keeps the same
panel going forward," fellow judge L.A. Reid told Billboard in October.
"I think that we actually suffer a little but for not having that
consistency in our panel."
The show's second season, airing now on Fox, continues to mix up
its lineup, adding Khloe Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez as its latest hosts. They
made their show debut last week.
