The singer's first official single will debut on Monday (April
8).
Beyoncé comes face-to-face with her past in the her latest
collaboration with Pepsi titled, "Mirrors."
In the one-minute video, King Bey' faces off with reflections of
her old self, imitating signature moves from her 10-year solo career before
introduciing new ones. "Embrace your past, but for now," she closes
by saying. It's also been 10 years this year that Bey' has been working with
Pepsi.
The commerical previews Beyoncé's first single, "Grown
Woman," off her forthcoming album. The Timbaland-produced song, features a
confident Bey', ready to show the world she's still got it.
"They like the way I walk cause I walk with a vengeance/ And
you listen to me when I talk cause I ain’t pretendin'/ Took awhile now I
understand just where I’m going/ I know the world and I know who I am 'bout
time I show it/ And I'm moving down like that when I do it/ I could be bad if I
want / I can go slow all night long / I’m a grown woman," she sings.
"Grown Woman" will debut on Monday (April 8).
