BILLBOARD.COM: The Black Keys Announce New Album... By Selling a Van?

Perhaps they're taking a page from fellow rock radio favorites the Foo Fighters, or maybe they really need to sell a used van, but the Black Keys are letting a goofy viral video do the talking. Specifically, that the duo's seventh album, titled "El Camino," is dropping Dec. 6.

The low-budget clip is helmed by comedian Bob Odenkirk, most notably from HBO's "Mr. Show" and "Breaking Bad." In lieu of low-life lawyer Saul Goodman, he's playing a low-life used car salesman from Akron, the band's hometown, in the video.

More info on this 1994 El Camino van "for sale" over at wannabuyavan.com. Fans can also call a northeast Ohio phone number (330-510-1206) to hear a message from drummer Patrick Carney regarding van details.

"El Camino" is the Black Keys' follow-up to 2010's "Brothers," which has sold 847,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
