The public relations nightmare that is Chris Brown, 23, dodged
another bullet yesterday.
Amid rumors that the pop star, who has abuse – both verbal and
physical – to credit for monumental career setbacks, got into an all-out brawl
last week outside of Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California with
Grammy-nominated artist Frank Ocean, 25, the alleged victim announced that he
will not press charges.
"As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result
in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer," he
says in a thoughtful note written in his usual all-caps fashion on his Tumblr
page. "I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal
charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace,
albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."
The fight allegedly started because of an argument over a parking
spot.
